A Trump impersonator, an “American Horror Story” witch and an Olympic gold medalist got viewers talking passionately on social media over the past week.

The Wrap has partnered with Canvs, a language analytics company that measures emotions around content, for a weekly look at the characters and stars that have TV viewers the most worked up on social media. The data below covers Sept. 27-Oct. 3 and is drawn from the most emotionally reacted-to broadcast and cable television shows.

Of the 29,258 Emotional Reactions (ERs) on social media surrounding the season premiere of “Saturday Night Live,” 12.7 percent mentioned special guest Alec Baldwin and 14.1 percent mentioned Donald Trump — who, of course, Baldwin was on hand to portray in the show’s cold open opposite cast member Kate McKinnon‘s Hillary Clinton in a recreation of the first presidential debate.

Of the 36,743 ERs surrounding “American Horror Story” — properly known as “American Horror Story: Roanoke” — 8.5 percent name-checked Lady Gaga, who returned to the show to play some sort of mysterious witch woman who hooks up with Cuba Gooding Jr.‘s character in a super-creepy forest sex scene.

Of the 18,800 ERs surrounding Monday’s episode of “Dancing With the Stars,” 9 percent name-checked Olympic gold medalist Laurie Hernandez, who danced to the Michael Jackson song “The Way You Make Me Feel” with partner Val Chmerkovskiy, in the process making the judges feel sufficiently wowed to give her a perfect score — the first of the season.
