Alec Baldwin, Sofia Vergara, Claire Danes Among Newly Announced Emmy Presenters

Will Arnett, Andre Braugher, Bryan Cranston, Jimmy Kimmel and Margo Martindale will also be on hand to present awards at the annual ceremony

The star-studded list of presenters for the upcoming 65th annual Emmy Awards continues to grow.

The Academy announced on Thursday that Will Arnett, Alec Baldwin, Andre Braugher, Bryan Cranston, Claire Danes, Jimmy Kimmel, Margo Martindale and Sofia Vergara will present awards at the ceremony airing live from the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles on Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS.

Together, the newly announced group represents a total of 49 Emmy nominations and 10 wins. “30 Rock’s” Baldwin, “Homeland’s” Danes and star of Fox’s new comedy, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” Braugher have all won twice. Star of CBS’s upcoming comedy, “The Millers,” Martindale has won once. And Cranston has won three times for AMC’s “Breaking Bad.”

They join previously announced presenting pairs Kerry Washington and Diahann Carroll; Tina Fey and Amy Poehler; Zooey Deschanel and Emily Deschanel; and Allison Janney with Anna Faris.

Also, HBO’s “Behind the Candelabra” stars Matt Damon and Michael Douglas will be presenting. It would be the first time both actors will present on the Emmy stage.

Neil Patrick Harris, who’s also an executive producer, will host the evening. Ken Ehrlich will executive produce.
