Ali Wong is teaming up with Tiffany Haddish to lend her voice to Netflix’s new animated comedy series “Tuca & Bertie.”
The series, which has received a 10-episode order at the streaming service, is a cartoon about the friendship between two 30-year-old bird women who live in the same apartment building: Tuca (Haddish), a cocky, care-free toucan, and Bertie (Wong), an anxious, daydreaming songbird.
The series is from the same team behind Netflix’s other animated comedy, “BoJack Horseman.” Lisa Hanawalt is the creator and will serve as executive producer alongside “BoJack” showrunner Raphael Bob-Waksberg, Noel Bright, Steven Cohen and Haddish.
