Timothy Hutton has been cast in a recurring guest role on Amazon series, “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan.”
The “American Crime” actor will play Singer, the Central Intelligence Agency’s deputy director of Operations. He’s represented by WME, Untitled Entertainment and Jackoway Tyerman.
The eight-episode, one-hour drama stars “The Office” alum John Krasinski as Jack Ryan, an up-and-coming CIA analyst thrust into a dangerous field assignment for the first time. Carlton Cuse and Graham Roland will executive produce the show. Roland wrote the pilot based on a story he developed with the “Lost” leader.
“Jack Ryan” is also executive produced by Krasinski, Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, Andrew Form, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Marcy Ross, Mace Neufeld, Morten Tyldum and Daniel Sackheim. Lindsey Springer serves as co-executive producer.
“Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” will be out on Amazon Prime Video in 2018.
