Amputee Plays Piano With Feet on ‘China’s Got Talent’

The 23-year-old’s performance moves the audience to tears

Meet Liu Wei, the armless piano player taking China by storm.

The 23-year-old debuted earlier this month on "China's Got Talent."

In this video of his first appearance, Liu received a standing ovation from the audience, many of whom were moved to tears, for a performance of "Mariage D'amour" by Richard Clayderman.

"I think I only have two choices in my life," he says in the video's English translation. "Either die now or lie a wonderful life. There's no rule that says piano can be only played by hands."

You can learn more about him in this Associated Press interview.
