‘The View': Joy Behar Backs, Then Blasts Amy Schumer in Glamour Mag Plus-Size Beef (Video)

ABC daytime host just can’t pick a side

Amy Schumer was pretty ticked off after being included in Glamour’s “plus-sized” issue, as she’s only between a Size 6 and 8. Or maybe the comedian was more mad that no one told her she’d be mentioned.

Either way, the women of “The View” have got her back — we think. Or maybe they don’t; the sole “Hot Topic” on Wednesday’s episode seemed to divide the co-hosts, who kept changing their own positions based on better information.

“In the industry that we are in, a Size 8 and up is actually plus-sized,” Raven-Symoné started the debate. “That’s why there’s such a disconnect between the normal, everyday woman and those supermodels that you see.”

“I think that she has a point, to tell you the truth,” Behar added, backing the “Inside Amy Schumer” host.

When it was brought up that the entire issue is not meant to cover plus-sized women exclusively and that Schumer was included in an inspiring positive body-image category, Behar still didn’t relent. “The implication is there,” she said.

“I don’t know,” Goldberg commented, re-explaining the situation to her colleague. “That’s something people have put on themselves.”

Behar reversed course this time: “Well then, what is she ticked off about?”

“It’s kind of wacky,” Goldberg summed up. We guess.
