Taylor Swift‘s fans have been up in arms since Amy Schumer posted an Instagram picture allegedly dissing the pop star and her thigh gap, and now the comedian has posted another pic to apologize in a typical Schumer fashion.

“That’s not a beard, this is a beard,” Schumer captioned the picture in which she sports a drawn-on beard. “So sorry to anyone with a beard this may offend. I am a comic and should never make fun of myself at the expense of anyone else that I wasn’t making fun of in the first place. #relax #beard.”

On Tuesday, Schumer posted a picture of herself at the beach, writing, “Taylor that’s not a thigh gap. This is a thigh gap.”

Many fans alleged that the comedian was poking fun at Swift’s appearance at the Grammy Awards on Monday. Swifties slammed Schumer for “body shaming” the singer, who had just won three awards at the Grammys.

Schumer has been known for speaking her mind, having famously attacking the Kardashians, specifically Khloe, in October, when she criticized them for sending the wrong message to young girls.
