Looks like Amy Schumer is gonna have to take a sick day or two. Some of you might have to by the end of this post, too.
The pregnant “Trainwreck” star Schumer hit up Instagram on Tuesday night to announce that she’s postponing more tour dates — and to share video evidence of the illness causing the postponement.
In an Instagram post featuring the video, Schumer first cautioned visitors, “Turn sound off if you have a week stomach.”
Schumer continued, “This was my ride to my show at @tarrytownmusichall tonight and a picture from the end of my set.”
The video itself featured Schumer — who earlier this month announced that she had to postpone shows in Texas after being hospitalized with a pregnancy-related condition — traveling in a car, leaning over a cup as she heaved and wretched.
” I love doing stand-up more than anything and I hate cancelling shows. I have to postpone some until I feel human again,” Schumer wrote. “But i will make up these dates and we will have a great time. I’m so proud of my stand up right now and can’t wait to share it. Thanks to the amazing crowd tonight for being so warm and such great laughers and for being cool with my sweatpants and slippers on stage.”
Despite being ill enough to cause her to postpone tour dates, Schumer also managed to get a dig in at Cindy Hyde-Smith, who defeated her opponent Mike Espy in a runoff election for a Senate seat representing Mississippi on Tuesday night.
“But I guess what I’m really saying is F— Hyde-Smith and anyone who voted for her. My feelings on her are best expressed by the above video,” Schumer continued. “And I don’t usually agree with speaking ill of crackheads, but she has a crackhead looking mouth. Tiny racist teeth confederate ass campaign with her crack mouth said she would attend a public hanging.”
Way to, uh, spill your guts, Amy.
