Anderson Cooper Thinks President Trump Watches Too Much CNN (Video)

“There has to be something more important going on, you know, for the President to be doing,” says Cooper

CNN’s Anderson Cooper appeared on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Tuesday, mocking President Donald Trump for watching too much cable news, saying, “He watches CNN all the time.”

Cooper said it’s not “in dispute at all” that Trump watches CNN, despite declaring it “fake news,” because he often comments in real time.

“He watches me on CNN more than my mom watches me on CNN,” Cooper joked.

Cooper said he appreciates Trump tuning in but “there has to be something more important going on, you know, for the President to be doing.”

Earlier Tuesday, senior White House counselor Kellyanne Conway admitted that the network is not “fake news,” despite the president’s constant attempts to discredit it.

“I don’t think CNN is fake news,” Conway told Jake Tapper. “I think there are so many reports everywhere — in print, on TV, on radio, in conversation that are not well researched and are sometimes based on falseness.”

The Trump Administration had been feuding with CNN on a regular basis, referring to it as “fake news.” The beef even made “Saturday Night Live,” when a recent skit depicted a CNN reporter locked in a cage during the mock Sean Spicer press conference starring Melissa McCarthy.
