Anne Hathaway to Warble ‘Cabaret’ Tunes in NYC Public-Theater Benefit

The "Les Miserables" actress will perform songs from "Cabaret" Oct. 24 in New York

Anne Hathaway will perform a one-night-only concert in New York to support the $40 million revitalization of Astor Place — Public Theater's downtown home.

“Perfectly Marvelous: The Songs of 'Cabaret' with Anne Hathaway and Friends” is slated for Oct. 24 at Joe’s Pub, , the Public Theater announced on Wednesday. Single tickets go on sale Oct. 2.

The refreshed Astor Place gets its official unveiling on Oct. 4.

Hathaway, who works her pipes alongside Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman in the upcoming screen adaptation of “Les Miserables," is a Public Theater alum. She played Viola in the 2009 Shakespeare in the Park production of “Twelfth Night.”

"I am delighted to reunite with The Public for this special night to celebrate the theater's rededication, and support its mission to spread great theater to all the people of New York (tourists are welcome, too)," she said in a statement.
