Singer Ariana Grande broke her silence with a touching photo on Saturday following the death of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller.

Grande posted the photo on Instagram a day after the 26-year-old rapper was found dead in his home in the San Fernando Valley. The cause of death has not yet been determined.

The “No Tears Left to Cry” singer posted the photo without a caption, choosing to let the black and white photo of Miller gazing up at the camera speak for itself.

Grande also disabled comments on her posts hours after the news of Miller’s death, as many of his fans took to social media attempting to blame his passing on her. They flooded her Instagram account with vitriolic comments.

Grande and Miller broke up earlier this year. After they split, Miller was arrested for a DUI when he ran his car into a tree. It was widely known that Miller struggled with substance abuse, and TMZ reported that Miller died of an apparent drug overdose.

Grande wrote in a post to her Instagram story at the time of his DUI that she “cared for him and tried to support his sobriety and prayed for his balance for years… I will pray from the bottom of my heart that he figures it all out.”
