‘Avengers’ in Real Life: How Much Would It Cost to Be Iron Man? (Video)

Those suits don’t come cheap, and neither does Stark Tower

Tony Stark is a self-proclaimed genius billionaire playboy philanthropist and a new video purports to show that the billionaire part is pretty essential to his lifestyle.

The “Avengers: Age of Ultron” character, played by Robert Downey, Jr., not only owns a prime Malibu mansion and his own skyscraper, he also invented the Iron Man suit and the dozens of replica suits making up his arsenal.

None of that comes cheap.

A new Fandango video attempts to assign real life monetary value to all of Stark’s biggest expenses – from the real estate (over $3 billion) to the suits with the capabilities of expensive stealth jets ($89 billion) to top-of-the-line styling and beauty regiments (a mere $100,000.00).

All in all, it costs just over $100 billion to be Iron Man. Luckily, a ticket to see him play with all his toys is only about $8.12 on average.

“Avengers: Age of Ultron” releases Friday, May 1.
