Billy Bob Thornton‘s “Bad Santa 2” will come down the chimney on November 23, 2016, Broad Green Pictures and partner Miramax said Monday.
Thornton reprises his role as conman Willie Soke, with Kathy Bates on board to play his mother. Tony Cox and Brett Kelly also return from the 2003 original in their roles of Marcus and The Kid.

Mark Waters will direct from a script by Johnny Rosenthal, Shauna Cross and Doug Ellin. Geyer Kosinski and Andrew Gunn serve as producers, with Miramax’s Zanne Devine and David Thwaites and Broad Green’s Gabriel and Daniel Hammond as executive producers.
