‘The Beaver,’ ‘Conan’ Documentary to Premiere at SXSW Festival

Greg Mottola’s road trip comedy “Paul” joins Duncan Jones’ “Source Code” in the lineup

Jodie Foster's "The Beaver," Greg Mottola's "Paul" and Rodman Flender's documentary "Conan O'Brien Can't Stop" will all premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival in March.

Foster co-stars alongside Mel Gibson, Anton Yelchin and Jennifer Lawrence in "The Beaver," which Summit Entertainment will open in limited release on March 23 before the film expands on April 8. The movie will screen in SXSW's Centerpiece slot on March 16.

"Paul" reunites the comedy team of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, while Seth Rogen voices a lovable alien in the adventurous road comedy.

The "Conan" documentary goes behind-the-scenes of the late night host's summer tour.

Ti West's "The Innkeepers," Billy Corben's "Square Grouper" and Kurt & Ian Marcus' "It's About You" will also screen at the Austin-based festival. They join the opening film film, Duncan Jones' "Source Code," which stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Vera Farmiga and Michelle Monaghan.

The SXSW Film Conference and Festival runs March 11-19, and the complete festival lineup will be announced early next month.
