The stars are coming out for the heroes.
Benedict Cumberbatch, John Leguizamo, Taye Diggs, Christina Hendricks, Kelly Ripa, Kathy Griffin, Morgan Spurlock, Questlove will present at the eighth annual “CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute.”
Additionally, Quvenzhané Wallis and Nick Jonas will recognize youths who are being honored by CNN as Young Wonders. The tribute, hosted by the cable news channel’s Anderson Cooper, airs Sunday, Dec. 7, at 8 p.m. ET, from The American Museum of Natural History in New York City.
During the event, each celebrity presenter will join one of the Top Ten CNN Heroes on stage to share their inspirational story. During the celebration, the 2014 CNN Hero of the Year will be announced.
Trisha Yearwood and Sheryl Crow are set to perform for the Manhattan crowd.
