‘Better Call Saul’ Gets Season 2 Premiere Date From AMC

Happy Valentine’s Day, “Breaking Bad” prequel fans

Better Call Saul

Jimmy McGill — AKA Saul Goodman — will be back in business the day after Valentine’s Day, as AMC announced Monday that “Better Call Saul” will return for a second season on Feb. 15.

The Emmy-nominated “Breaking Bad” spinoff follows the rise of Walter White’s crooked lawyer, played by Bob Odenkirk.

“Jimmy McGill’s journey takes surprising, left-handed turns in season two of ‘Better Call Saul.’ He goes to places we’d never, ever expected. As for Mike Ehrmantraut, he’s pulled deeper into a world he was sure he’d left forever,” said Peter Gould, executive producer and showrunner. “We can’t wait to share the next chapter of ‘Better Call Saul’ with the fans who have embraced the show.”

“Better Call Saul” Season 2 is executive produced by showrunners Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein and Thomas Schnauz, with Gennifer Hutchison as co-executive producer. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television.

“Better Call Saul” airs at 10 p.m. ET/PT on AMC.
