Parting is such sweet sorrow, huh, Kaley Cuoco?

“The Big Bang Theory” star Cuoco took to Instagram on Monday, as the CBS comedy prepares to end its 12-season run, to share a photo of her extended “Big Bang” family.

In her Instagram post, Cuoco noted that they are “slowly saying our goodbyes over the next few weeks and it isn’t getting any easier.”

Cuoco punctuated her post with a crying-face emoji.

In her post, Cuoco shared a photo of herself on the “Big Bang Theory” set surrounded not only by castmates including Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Melissa Rauch, Mayim Bialik and Kunal Nayyar, but also a number of behind-the-scenes people on the series.

“To a group of people who have been way more than a ‘second team’ to us for the last 12 years. They are family!” Cuoco wrote, including an image of a broken heart.

The actress continued, “thank you for being the cast behind the scenes..slowly saying our goodbyes over the next few weeks and it isn’t getting any easier @bigbangtheory_cbs.”

Cuoco’s emotional post prompted like-minded responses in the comments section.

“I mean I’ll never be able to say goodbye. I’ll carry you all with me on the boat wherever I float in the world,” one fan wrote. “You are my comfort, my happy place, my light in the darkness. For 12 years my husband and I have fallen asleep laughing and snuggling to BBT. You guys feel like home no matter where in the world we are. THANK YOU!”

“So sad to see y’all go,” another fan added.

“It will break my heart to not see u guys again,” read another comment.

Last month, CBS announced that “The Big Bang Theory” will end its run with its 279th episode, an hour-long series finale on Thursday, May 16 At 8/7c.
