As with pets and their owners, apparently pretend TV spouses start to look like each other after a while too.
“Big Bang Theory” stars Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki, who play husband and wife on the hit CBS sitcom “The Big Bang Theory,” graced fans with a behind-the-scenes glimpse on Thursday that showcased just how alike they really are. At least from a wardrobe standpoint.
The photo featured Cuoco and Galecki standing side-by-side, wearing nearly identical outfits — black-and-white striped shirts, jeans ripped at the knees and black shoes.
An adorable bit of co-worker twinning, to be sure — but alas, there seemed to be a bit of contention between the two regarding who actually came up with the look.
“He copied me @sanctionedjohnnygalecki,” Cuoco wrote in her Instagram post displaying the photo.
Galecki, meanwhile, told a much different story.
“When your fake wife bites your style,” Galecki wrote in his own Instagram post featuring the same photo.
At any rate, it was a much more fashionable look than the duo was last seen in.
Earlier Thursday, Cuoco shared a different behind-the-scenes photo of herself and her castmates, decked out in camouflage outfits, revealing that revealing that the gang will be taking aim at each other in a paintball game during this week’s episode.
Cuoco also reflected on the fact that the series is preparing to wrap up after its current 12th and final season, saying that the fact that the show is drawing to a close is “getting very very real.”
“Don’t miss an all new @bigbangtheory_cbs TONIGHT where we engage in a friendly game of paintball,” Cuoco, who along with her castmates will bid adieu to the series after its current, 12th and final season, wrote.
The actress added, “the realization we are coming to an end is getting very very real,” punctuating the sentiment with a crying-face emoji.
At least they’re fitting in some silly fun between the tears.
