Black Panther, Black Widow Fight With Their Words in ‘Civil War’ Deleted Scene (Video)

Civil, indeed

Chadwick Boseman and Scarlett Johansson shared at least one more “Captain America: Civil War” scene that readers weren’t privy to … until now.

USA Today was given the honor — and the footage — of sharing such a clip this week. We’re happy to borrow it.

In the brief back-and-forth, Boseman’s Black Panther asks Johansson’s Black Widow a semi-rhetorical question, “You are not used to the truth, are you?”

She ignores that half-question/half-statement in favor of complimenting his super-suit, which apparently places him under her jurisdiction.

The passive-aggressive ping-pong conversation moves on from there, with Panther querying how long such a psychological evaluation typically takes, while Widow wants to know if her guest is bored. He isn’t, yet — but it sounds like that could be right around the corner.

Fortunately, Panther, who has a prisoner and a plane to catch, was granted extradition. And, scene.

“Captain America: Civil War” comes out in Digital HD and on Disney Movies Anywhere on September 2. The Blu-Ray hits store shelves 11 days later.

The latest in the Captain America film franchise has a 90 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, both from critics and the audience. Top critics rank it one percentage point lower. The blockbuster also made a big splash at the box office this summer.
