Brad Pitt Names Jeremy Kleiner Co-President of Plan B Entertainment

Along with Pitt and Plan B president Dede Gardner, Kleiner produced Paramount's "World War Z"

Jeremy Kleiner has been promoted to co-president of Plan B Entertainment, it was announced on Wednesday by Brad Pitt and company president Dede Gardner.

Kleiner and Gardner oversee Plan B's development and production slate, which includes projects with filmmakers Bennett Miller, David Fincher, James Gray and Greg Mottola, among others.

Along with Pitt and Gardner, Kleiner produced the upcoming Plan B film, "World War Z," which Paramount will release June 21.

Kleiner is also a producer on Plan B's "Twelve Years a Slave," which Fox Searchlight opens Dec. 27, as well as New Regency's 2014 release "True Story," which stars Jonah Hill and James Franco.

“Jeremy Kleiner has played an immeasurable role in the success of this company. This promotion is long overdue. We are happy to make it official,” said Pitt.

Kleiner is also an executive producer of Plan B and Brillstein Entertainment Partners' recently completed pilot for ABC/ABC Studios, "Resurrection." He previously exec produced Plan B's "Kick-Ass," "Eat Pray Love" and "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee."


Kleiner joined Plan B in 2003 and rose through the ranks from creative executive to producer and now co-president. He began his career as an intern at Errol Morris’ Fourth Floor Productions and Kopelson Entertainment, then worked as a creative executive at Dick and Lauren Shuler Donner’s company before joining Plan B.
