Bravo Sets ‘Thicker Than Water’ Season 2 Premiere, Releases First Trailer (Video)

The tightknit family returns to the cable network in December

The self-proclaimed “Black Brady Bunch” is back.

Bravo Media released a first look at Season 2 of its family-centered reality series “Thicker Than Water,” which returns Sunday, Dec. 21 at 9 p.m. ET.

The show centers around The Tankards, an African-American family who hold strong religious convictions and southern values. They aren’t above an occasional entertaining squabble, however.

Joining Ben, Jewel, Brooklyn, Britney, Benji and Cyrene at the “Tankard Place” this season is Marcus, Ben’s oldest son. He returns to Tennessee with his wife Tish on Season 2. Most everyone will embrace him warmly, everyone except for Britney.

Other storylines tackled on Season 2 will include patriarch Ben’s 50th birthday, Jewel’s midlife crisis and Brooklyn trying her hand as an entrepreneur.

“Thicker Than Water” is produced by Sirens Media, with Rebecca Toth Diefenbach, Valerie Haselton Drescher and Lucilla D’Agostino serving as executive producers, and John Doe Productions, with Renard Young and Darren Toon serving as executive producers.
