Bravo turns up the heat with their new culinary competition series, “Top Chef Duels,” airing this summer.
Celebrity chef, Curtis Stone, will host the new series as well as judge the competing chefs alongside Gail Simmons, Wolfgang Puck and Hugh Acheson.
Here’s how the competition works: Each week, two chefs will compete in three rounds of intense battles, which will test their skill, creativity and speed. “Top Chef Duels” will take advantage of how well the chefs know each other by allowing them to pick one mini-duel based on the other’s weaknesses in the kitchen.
They’ll battle in a third and final challenge before moving on to the finale where 10 chefs will compete. In the end, the winner gets $100,000 grand prize and a culinary adventure that will be featured in Food and Wine Magazine.

“Top Chef Duels” judges will include Shailene Woodley, Pink, and Andy Samberg will be among the celebrity guests to spice up the mix.
Additionally, in a continuation of the competition, “The Knockout,” a companion digital video series, will give eliminated chefs a chance to claim a spot in the “Top Chef Duels” finale on-air. Hosted by Wolfgang Puck, each week the most recently eliminated chef from the series will compete against the incumbent Knockout champion. Only the ultimate winner of “The Knockout” will re-enter the “Top Chef Duels” Championship finale.
“Top Chef Duels” premieres Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 10/9c on Bravo.
