Broad Green Pictures and Universal Home Entertainment are teaming for a long-term, multi-year distribution deal for Blu-ray and DVD releases, the company said Wednesday.
Universal will handle back-end distribution for titles from the growing production company.

Broad Green Pictures and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment announced today a long term, multi-year distribution services agreement. Under the agreement, Universal will exclusively manage back-room distribution services for all Broad Green titles for Blu-ray and DVD with Broad Green Pictures continuing to handle sales and marketing across all platforms. The announcement was jointly made by Steve Nickerson, President of Home Entertainment, Broad Green Pictures and John Morici, Managing Director – U.S. & Canada, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
Broad Green Pictures, a feature film financing, production and distribution company founded by Gabriel and Daniel Hammond in 2014, will distribute up to 16 specialty and wide release film per year across a multitude of platforms. This agreement will allow Broad Green to share their growing slate of films with fans and help establish the studio’s home entertainment distribution infrastructure.

Broad Green Pictures’ growing slate of films include the critically acclaimed 99 Homes, A Walk in the Woods, Infiltrator, Brain on Fire, Samba, I Smile Back and Learning to Drive, as well as Terrence Malick’s Knight Of Cups, Voyage of Time and his untitled project starring Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara and Michael Fassbender.
