Cardi B Surrenders to Police After Strip Club Fight

Rapper believed a bartender had slept with her husband, according to TMZ

Cardi B surrendered to New York City police on Monday morning in connection with a strip club brawl, TheWrap has learned.

The “Be Careful” rapper turned herself in, along with nine other suspects, at the 109th Precinct in Queens at 10:00 a.m. ET.

Cardi B wasn’t arrested, but will be ordered to appear in court, for orchestrating an August attack on two bartenders at Angels Strip Club in Queens, according to the NYPD. Cardi B believed one of the bartenders had slept with Offset, her husband, according to TMZ.

The 25-year-old breakout star will likely be charged with reckless endangerment, according to a police spokesperson.

Cardi B told her crew to throw chairs, bottles, and a “hookah smoking device” at the bartenders, named Jade and Baddie Gi, according to TMZ. Cardi B left the precinct on Monday morning after receiving her court summons.

Cardi B made her name on VH1’s “Love & Hip-Hop,” before her debut album, “Invasion of Privacy,” thrust her to the top of the hip-hop food chain earlier this year.

She’s released a string a string of hit singles, including “I Like It” with J Balvin, but also been hit with several legal issues as well. Cardi B and Offset have been sued for a “savage assault” on an autograph seeker, and her ex-manager is seeking $10 million for breach of contract.
