Carly Fiorina Says She’d Support a Muslim President, Sings About Her Dog on ‘Tonight Show’ (Video)

GOP candidate’s ditty “My Name’s Snick” probably isn’t going to top the charts anytime soon

Surging GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina is a woman of many talents and strong beliefs, and she shared one of each with Jimmy Fallon on Monday’s “Tonight Show.”

First up, Fiorina told Fallon that she would be “fine” with a Muslim president, disagreeing with fellow candidate Dr. Ben Carson’s recent public stance in the opposite direction.

“Well, I think that’s wrong,” Fiorina opined. “It says in our Constitution that religion cannot be a test for office. It is also true that this country was founded on the principle that we judge each individual, and that anyone of any faith is welcome here.”

“I actually believe that people of faith make better leaders … whether it’s a person of Christian faith or Jewish faith or Muslim faith or other faiths,” she continued. “I think faith gives us humility, and empathy, and optimism.”

Later in the show, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO showed her silly side to an NBC audience and America, singing a ridiculous song about her dog Snickers.

And, ah, here are those lyrics: “My name’s Snick/and I’m lazy/please don’t take a walk with me/I’d rather stay right here at home instead/I want to lie back down in my nice, warm bed/My name’s Snick and you’re gonna have to carry me.”

Finally, Fiorina reiterated her previous statement that Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin have a lot in common.
