So many Carrie Fisher have tried to buy her most recent book, “The Princess Diarist,” that it is now listed as “temporarily out of stock” on Amazon.
The “Star Wars” star’s tell-all has no estimated ship date, but the online retailer is still accepting orders for the book and says it will deliver once it becomes available. The good news? Amazon customers can still buy it on Kindle.
As of Wednesday afternoon, “The Princess Diarist” held the number one spot on Amazon’s best seller’s list.
Fisher’s “Wishful Drinking” and “Postcards from the Edge” were both in the number seven and eight spots respectively.
“The Princess Diarist,” released Nov. 22, is Fisher’s memoir based on diaries she kept while filming “Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.” Among other tales from the set, it describes the actress’s affair with co-star Harrison Ford while she played Princess Leia and he played Han Solo.
Readers are still able to get the book from third party vendors on Amazon — and even actual bookstores.
Fisher died after suffering a heart attack on a transatlantic flight last week. She was 60.
