CBS has ordered a pilot for a new crime drama based on the Israeli format “Wisdom of the Crowd,” TheWrap has learned.

The series follows a tech innovator who creates a cutting-edge crowdsourcing hub to solve his own daughter’s murder, as well as revolutionizing crime solving in San Francisco.

Ted Humphrey, an executive producer on “The Good Wife,” will write and executive produce the pilot. Keshet Media Group CEO Avi Nir, Keshet International CEO Alon Shtruzman, Keshet’s head of scripted content Peter Traugott, Keshet executive vice president Rachel Kaplan, Dror Mishani and Shira Hadad will also executive produce. CBS Television Studios will produce in association with Universal Television.

This is the third pilot order this season with a Keshet connection. Previously, NBC ordered a pilot for “For God and Country,” a military drama that will be executive produced by Nir, Traugott, and Kaplan. ABC, meanwhile, ordered a pilot for “Salamander,” based on a Belgian series that will be produced by Keshet.

Among the other pilots ordered at CBS this season are: an untitled drama pilot about a team of investigators who specialize in hate crimes, a NASA drama called “Mission Control” written by Andy Weir; a thriller about a former CIA operative-turned-professor who is enlisted to catch a serial killer entitled “Killer Instinct;” and “Perfect Citizen,” about an NSA whistleblower who joins a Boston law firm.
