Channing Tatum got his twerk on in front of some unsuspecting fans for a prank to promote "Magic Mike XXL," and it was all captured on camera.
At the first fan screening for the male-stripper sequel, Tatum underwent extensive makeup and prosthetic work to look like an old man, and then proceeded to interview moviegoers on what they liked about "Magic Mike" and what parts of the movie they'd like to see in 3D.
"Pelvic thrusting" was a popular answer, unsurprisingly.
The "3D" screening then began, and live male dancers soon popped up on stage, though Tatum saved the best -- himself -- for last.
On Tuesday, the actor posted a video of the screening brank to promote his contest for one fan to be his guest at the world premiere of "Magic Mike XXL." The Omaze-run contest supports the Runa Foundation, which supports local farmers in the Amazon.
The sequel, which Tatum co-wrote with Reid Carolin, brings back together the Kings of Tampa, including Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and Adam Rodriguez, for one last road trip from Tampa to Myrtle Beach.
"Magic Mike XXL" will be released on July 1.
