Angry Chargers Fan Eggs Team’s Office in Front of News Cameras: ‘F— LA’ (Video)

He also documents vandalism on Periscope

A Chargers fan really wanted the team to know how mad he was over the decision to move to Los Angeles. Not only did he egg the NFL team’s headquarters in San Diego, but he Periscoped the act of vandalism and even allowed TV news cameras to film him doing it.

“As a lifelong Chargers fan, it’s like a total kick in the stomach,” Dan Wellington told NBC News on Thursday night when the news crew caught him in the act. But his own broadcast was uncensored.

“F— LA. Fuck [Chargers owner] Dean Spanos. I might go to jail for this. The news is here too,” the man said into his phone. “You know what might happen though? I’m going to throw these eggs, I’m going to hit my target, and these motherf—ers are going to want to sign me.”

Multiple local news stations reported cops did arrive on the scene.

Wellington was reacting to an ESPN report that the team was considering moving north, and Spanos announced the decision to become the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday.

“San Diego has been our home for 56 years,” Spanos said in a letter to fans. “It will always be part of our identity, and my family and I have nothing but gratitude and appreciation for the support and passion our fans have shared with us over the years. But today, we turn the page and begin an exciting new era as the Los Angeles Chargers.”
