Kim Kardashian‘s self-indulgent nude photo showing off her post-baby body has garnered negative reactions from real Hollywood stars.
“@KimKardashian I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than … just their bodies,” actress Chloe Grace Moretz wrote on Twitter Monday.
Kardashian, now a mother of two, who gave birth to her second child with husband Kanye West last December, captioned her NSFW pic by saying, “When you’re like I have nothing to wear LOL.”
Grammy, Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe-winning star Bette Midler also had a smart response to the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” personality’s gratuitous pose in her bathroom mirror, posted Sunday.
“Kim Kardashian tweeted a nude selfie today. If Kim wants us to see a part of her we’ve never seen, she’s gonna have to swallow the camera,” Midler, 70, tweeted.
“The 5th Wave” star Moretz went on to respond to criticism to her own initial tweet, writing, “There’s a huge difference in respecting the platform that you’re given as a celebrity and ‘slut shaming’ something I never have done and – would never do.”
Kardashian wasn’t going to take the social media jabs quietly, however, and responded to Midler with a passive aggressive tweet later in the evening.
“hey @BetteMidler I know it’s past your bedtime but if you’re still up and reading this send nudes #justkidding,” she wrote. “I really didn’t want to bring up how you sent me a gift awhile back trying to be a fake friend then come at me #dejavu.”
The E! reality star didn’t hold back when referring to Moretz either, telling the 19-year-old actress: “let’s all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is. your nylon cover is cute boo.”
