Christoph Waltz Sings and Prances in Tight, Colorful Unitard in Early Footage Unearthed on ‘Kimmel’ (Video)

Late-night staple of surprising guests with embarrassing video from their early days reaches new heights on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live”

Christoph Waltz is an award-winning actor revered and respected by his peers and movie-goers alike. Which is why it was even funnier when Jimmy Kimmel fell on the old late-night standby of unearthing some embarrassing video footage of Waltz’ early days in show business.

While we’ve seen this bit done time and time again with celebrities, we’ve perhaps never seen anything quite like what was unleashed upon the world on Tuesday night’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC.

“This is one of those things were from time to time on talk shows they will find a clip of a guest, and usually its like yeah, whatever,” Kimmel explained to the “Horrible Bosses 2” star, who looked both perplexed and nervous. Did he remember this particular project?

“I think this one stands on its own,” Kimmel said by way of introduction to the clip. The video, which was in German with subtitles, featured Waltz singing about the year and prancing around in a tight and very colorful unitard. Waltz could only cover his face as the video played.

“Had I known, I wouldn’t have made fun of Boy George,” Waltz said.

Christoph Waltz can next be seen in “Horrible Bosses 2,” in theaters Wednesday, Nov. 26. “Jimmy Kimmel Live” airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
