Conan O’Brien Heading to Comic-Con

The talk show host tweets that he’ll be at the San Diego convention on Friday

Conan O'Brien — by turns cool and geeky — is Comic-Con bound.

The talk show host Tweeted the news Thursday:

"Headed to @Comic_Con tomorrow – I might check out the Green Lantern panel. I’ll be the guy dressed as Conan. #SDCC"

That panel is the 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Warner Bros. Animation panel about the new CG-animation action series "Green Lantern."

O'Brien's interest?

Creator Bruce Timm ("Batman: The Animated Series") also created O'Brien's "The Flaming C."

Timm will be on the panel, along with Warner Bros. Animation's Sam Register, producer Giancarlo Volpe and editor Jim Krieg.

The panel's in Room 6BCF.

While O'Brien's in San Diego, he should check out "COCO-MoCA Presents: The Fine Art of The Flaming C Fan-Art Exhibit."

MoCA is "Museum of Conan Art." The exhibition, at the Michael J. Wolf Fine Arts Gallery, will include a LEGO sculpture of o"Brien. The exhibition will be down the block from Comic-Con, at the Michael J. Wolf Fine Arts Gallery, 363 Fifth Ave., Suite 102.
