‘Crowded’ Star Carrie Preston on the ‘High Octane’ Pace of Her New Show (Video)

“They change the script on us every day,” actress says of NBC sitcom on latest episode of TheWrap’s “Drinking With the Stars”

What’s a mom to do when she wants to get away from the relatives crammed into her house? Duck out for a drink, of course.

In the latest episode of “Drinking With the Stars,” Carrie Preston, the star of “Crowded,” drops in to tell correspondent Stuart Brazell about the new sitcom.

The series revolves around empty-nest couple Martina (Preston) and Mike (Patrick Warburton), whose dreams of freedom are crushed when their adult daughters move back in, along with Mike’s retired parents.

A hectic environment, to be sure — and as Preston tells it, filming the series can be hectic as well.

“[The show has] sort of a high-octane kind of pace; they change the script on us every day, and even when we’re shooting, you do a scene and then the writers get in a huddle, they rewrite, and suddenly you’re saying lines you’ve never said before,” Preston told TheWrap.
