Crypt TV, a horror-focused digital brand, has signed onto a content partnership with Facebook Watch to create five shows for the video platform, the two companies announced on Friday morning. Each of the shows will have 10 episodes and live exclusively on Facebook Watch. Currently in active development, the programming will be executive produced by Crypt TV’s Jack Davis, Kate Krantz and Darren Brandl.  Paul Lee’s wiip will also serve as co-producers. More information about the shows will be revealed in the coming months. “Crypt is thrilled to deliver our signature monster stories to a global community on Facebook. This partnership is a unique opportunity for Crypt to continue to build our brand and bring our original scary IP to Facebook Watch,” Davis said. “Over the years, Facebook’s platform has enabled Crypt to create and foster a real, engaged community. Our monsters are anchored to powerful emotions and we hope the exploration of these universal emotions brings the world a little bit closer together.’ Founded in 2015, Crypt TV has raised over $10 million in funding from Blumhouse Productions, Lerer Hippeau, NBC Universal, and Advancit Capital. Specializing in horror, the company has won Webby Awards for its short films  “The Birch,” “The Look-See,” and “Sunny Family Cult” and has also made original content for top Hollywood studios including Fox, Warner Bros. and Netflix.
