Daniel Radcliffe Makes a Terrible Receptionist for Nylon Magazine (Video)

“Harry Potter” star fills in for an hour at the front desk

Daniel Radcliffe is a fine actor, but his skills as a receptionist leave much to be desired.

The “Harry Potter” and “What If” star filled in at the front desk of Nylon Magazine for an hour recently, and quickly found himself in over his head.

Radcliffe couldn’t work the phone system, and was left baffled when a courier arrived to pick up a package left at the front desk by a Nylon employee. “I’m preparing for my next role, at the moment,” he said. “It’s already proving to be, like, the hardest thing I’ve ever done.”

It wasn’t all bad though. Plenty of people recognized Radcliffe for his film roles. “I loved your work in ‘Harry Potter,’” one man said. “And the horse play you did,” referring to “Equus,” the play Radcliffe headlined in London’s West End in 2007.
