Daniel Radcliffe Talks About Going Undercover as Spider-Man at Comic-Con, Shaves a Dude’s Head (Video)

Another Comic-Con, another Hollywood cosplayer

Quick, who would win in a battle: Harry Potter or Spider-Man?

Well, it depends on whether Harry could get any spells off before Spidey pulled away his wand and tied him up with web, but that’s not really the point; the above was just a semi-clever lede for a story about Daniel Radcliffe, the dude who played the boy wizard on screen for a decade, dressing as the wall-crawling here at Comic-Con… OK, semi-clever, at best, now that the conceit has been explained and spoiled.

Moving on… Radcliffe joined Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday to promote his new movie, “What If,” and also discuss his time wandering the halls of the big nerd fest in San Diego over the weekend. No one knew it was him, of course, since Spider-Man wears a full mask, which helped him take a bunch of quirky photos to post online and show the amused Kimmel.

By the way, if you happened to be in New York City last year during Halloween, and you saw a Batman, it may well have been Radcliffe, because he loves dressing up as superheroes.

Later on, Radcliffe shaved the head of some lucky fan on Hollywood Boulevard. It went pretty well.
