NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman took his friendship with Kim Jong Un to a new level Friday when he posted an apparently mocked-up photo of the North Korean dictator covering that famous hair of his with a Make America Great Again cap.

“Hoping for this after my two friends and leaders meet next month. #Peace #Love #NotWar #Diplomacy,” Rodman wrote, referring to an announced plan for a meeting between Kim and President Donald Trump later this year.

Rodman, who appeared on Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” in 2009, befriended Kim in 2013, at which time he said Kim was “a friend for life.”

Later that year, Rodman told Sports Illustrated: “My mission is to break the ice between hostile countries. Why it’s been left to me to smooth things over, I don’t know. Dennis Rodman, of all people. Keeping us safe is really not my job; it’s the black guy’s [Obama’s] job. But I’ll tell you this: If I don’t finish in the top three for the next Nobel Peace Prize, something’s seriously wrong.”

While Rodman’s attempt to broker peace between the two world leaders was met by some with applause, literally…

…others responded with befuddled looks and eye-rolls.

And, yes, there were also some who found the whole thing terrifying.
