Universal Pictures has unveiled a new video of Doc Brown in honor of “Back to the Future” Day, which is being celebrated worldwide on Wednesday — the famed Oct. 21, 2015 date glimpsed in Robert Zemeckis‘ original blockbuster and in 1989’s “Part II.”
There’s no sign of Michael J. Fox, but Christopher Lloyd reprises his beloved role as Doc Brown, who delivers a special message to fans from behind the wheel of a DeLorean.
Of the future, Doc Brown says, “Yes, it is different than we all thought, but don’t worry, it just means your future hasn’t been written yet. No one’s has. Your future is whatever you make it, so make it a good one.”
The spot debuted online early Wednesday morning, and concludes with a plug for the “Back to the Future” 30th anniversary trilogy on Blu-ray and DVD.
