Donald Trump Press Conference: Watch Live Stream Here (Video)

This is the president-elect’s first press conference since beating Hillary Clinton

Donald Trump is holding his first press conference since shocking the world by defeating Hillary Clinton in the presidential election.

Trump is expected to touch on a wide variety of topics, including Russia, his first 100 days in office and administration selections. He has not held a formal press conference in nearly six months and today’s event comes only nine days before he is scheduled to be sworn into office.

Trump is also expected to detail his plan to separate himself from his vast business empire. A table of binders and documents is located next to the podium at Trump Tower in New York City.

Trump has been communicating through Twitter, but Wednesday’s press conference will expand his thoughts beyond 140 characters. There are “several hundred” people in the room, according to Fox News.

Most of Trump’s top advisors, including Mike Pence, Sean Spicer, Jared Kushner, Kellyanne Conway and Steve Bannon are in attendance, along with the adult Trump children.

Incoming Press Secretary Spicer started off the event by blasting BuzzFeed for publishing on Tuesday an unverified Russian dossier said to concern Trump. Pence went next, blasting the mainstream media for trying to delegitimize the election results and then introduced the president-elect.
