Donald Trump Not Running for Governor, Talks Meeting With the Mob (Video)

Sorry New Yorkers, you’ll just have to vote for a real, qualified politician

Apparently, Donald Trump is perpetually running for office — even when he’s not.

On Thursday, David Letterman pretty much insisted that The Donald dispel the latest political aspirational rumor: That Trump may be running for governor of New York. Trump complied.

“Well I’m probably not,” the “Apprentice” star said. He then clarified, “I can really say I’m really definitely not. I have other things to do. I have a lot of things going on that are fabulous.”

Satisfied with the reply, the “Late Show”  host then asked Trump if he’s ever done business with the mob. After some waffling non-answers, Trump mined a joke out of the exchange:

“You don’t want to get involved. Although I must say, I have met on occasion a few of those people. They happen to be very nice people — you just don’t want to owe them money.”
