What a tease: The trailer for “Dragon Blade,” which is currently set to release in China only, has hit American shores.

The epic historical movie takes place during China’s Han Dynasty (206-220 AD) and stars Jackie Chan, John Cusack and Adrien Brody.

It follows Huo An (Chan), the commander of the Protection Squad of the Western Regions, who was framed by evil forces and becomes enslaved. Meanwhile, a Roman soldier, Lucius (Cusack) escapes to China after rescuing the Prince. The duo will then cross paths, resulting in a thrilling partnership. Brody plays Roman Emperor, Tiberius.

Written and directed by Daniel Lee (“14 Blade,” “Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon”), “Dragon Blade” was filmed on a $65 million budget, a record-breaking sum for a Chinese film.

Shot in Hengdian, China, as well as Dunhuang and the Gobi Desert, the trailer features dynamic fight scenes, amazing acts of heroism, suffering prisoners and face-offs between the stars.
