The Duggars are still reeling from the scandals that plagued older brother Josh in a new trailer for “Jill & Jessa: Counting On.”
“Everybody makes their own decisions, and everybody makes their own choices,” Jill Duggar says. “But they’re not the only ones that suffer the consequences.”
Joseph Duggar is likewise still in shock at the revelation that Josh was not as righteous as he claimed to be. “I don’t think there’s any way we could have known that my brother was living such a secret life.”
TLC cancelled “19 Kids and Counting” after it surfaced earlier this year that Josh had molested several underage girls, including Jill and Jessa, when he was a teenager. Later, hacked information from the website Ashley Madison, which is an online dating site for men looking to have affairs, revealed that Josh was a dues-paying member of the site.
In “Jill & Jessa,” a new three-part special airing on TLC, the two young women prepare for major life changes as Jill moves to Central America with her family and Jessa starts one of her own.
Part one will air Dec. 13 at 8 p.m./7c with a 90-minute premiere. The subsequent specials will air at 9 p.m./8c on Dec. 20 and 27.
