DVR Data Boosts ‘V’ Ratings

Final audience tally of 16.7 million for ABC series’ debut.

The premiere of ABC’s "V" was even bigger.

The alien drama was the biggest gainer among all freshman series in its first week.

Based on Nielsen’s Live + 7 ratings that incorporate DVR viewing up to seven days after a show’s original airing, "V" added 2.4 million more viewers for a final audience of 16.7 million viewers and a 6.2 rating among adults 18-49.
