A five-part documentary on Rose McGowan is hitting the E! Network January 30, the network said Tuesday.

The project will start with a two-hour documentary later this month, and then four episodes that will air later this spring.

“You are formally invited into my mind and world. I am thrilled to partner with E! to amplify my message of bravery, art, joy and survival. As I ready my book, ‘BRAVE,’ I realized I wanted to show how we can heal through art even when being hounded by evil,” McGowan said in a press release.

“I want to have a conversation with everyone, and most especially, you about looking at things differently and seeing beauty everywhere,” the actress and activist added. “E!’s tremendous reach and impressive platform allow me to globally communicate the importance of living a BRAVE life.”

“Rose McGowan’s courage in addressing sexual abuse and harassment in Hollywood ignited a conversation and inspired other women to speak out against their abusers,” said Executive Vice President of Development and Production at E! Amy Introcaso-Davis. “We look forward to taking viewers inside this talented, dynamic woman’s world as the first allegations unfold and she becomes a leading voice in a critical cultural change.”

McGowan was one of the first women to speak out about the sexual misconduct of Harvey Weinstein, and has been a vocal participant in the #MeToo movement. In October, McGowan said that Weinstein raped her, and she launched a petition to dissolve the Weinstein Company.

The docuseries will go behind-the-scenes into McGowan’s “tumultuous and fascinating life” and depict McGowan processing “in almost real-time, the massive social change she has helped usher in as well as fight back against those who have hurt so many, including her.”

“Citizen Rose” is produced by Bunim/Murray Productions. Along with McGowan, Jonathan Murray, Gil Goldschein, Farnaz Farjam Chazan and Andrea Metz will executive produce.

The first part of “Citizen Rose” airs Tuesday, January 30 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on E!
