“Wilfred” star Elijah Wood heads to the kitchen as a celebrity guest judge on Tuesday’s episode of Esquire Network’s action-packed chef face-off, “Knife Fight.”
A sneak peek for Tuesday’s episode, “Kobayashi vs. Arrington,” features an enthusiastic and wide-eyed Wood asking chef Nyesha Arrington about the inspiration behind her choice of Mediterranean flavors. Shaking his head in admiration he murmurs, “That’s awesome.”

The show, executive produced by Drew Barrymore and hosted by “Top Chef” Season 2 winner Ilan Hall, pits famous Los Angeles chefs against each other in a gritty competition at Hall’s LA restaurant, The Gorbals. “Knife Fight” is like “Fight Club” for foodies in which fist-swinging men are replaced with knife wielding chefs.
The dueling chefs work under the pressure of a very up-close-and-personal-audience consisting of jeering friends, inquisitive judges, and famous Hollywood faces, all of whom interact with the contestants as they work to prepare three dishes using three mystery ingredients.

“Knife Fight” airs Tuesdasy at 9/8c on Esquire Network.
