Emmy Contender Constance Zimmer on ‘Destructive’ Fun of ‘UnREAL’ (Video)

Actress tells TheWrap about dark places she traveled playing reality producer Quinn King — and where she wants to go next

Constance Zimmer is not short on “firsts” when she’s portraying tough-as-nails reality producer Quinn King on Lifetime’s “UnREAL.”

“Playing Quinn, I’m out of my comfort zone pretty much every day — everything I do, every line I deliver,” Zimmer told the latest issue of TheWrap’s Emmy magazine.

“The scene where I went into the control room and smashed the monitor and then cut my hand and then had a huge emotional moment for a character who is incredibly guarded? That was very uncomfortable for me as an actress, but super fun to do,” Zimmer said of her latest season on the Lifetime hit.

“I destroyed that place. I was pulling out wires and smashing computers — what you actually see in the episode is not very much of it. I wish you could see more of that destruction and that crazy chaos,” she added.
