“Enlisted” showrunner Kevin Biegel has closed a two-year overall deal at ABC Television Studios.

Under the terms, the former Fox sitcom creator and executive producer will serve as a consulting producer for “The Real O’Neals.”

Previously, Biegel co-created the ABC hit comedy “Cougar Town” with Bill Lawrence. In addition, his past credits include NBC’s “Scrubs,” Fox’s “Grounded for Life” and NBC’s “The Tracy Morgan Show.”

“Enlisted” was canceled by Fox during its first and only season. Biegel flirted with Yahoo Screen in an attempt to revive the military sitcom, but nothing came of the talks.

Biegel is repped by UTA and Morris Yorn Barnes & Levine.
