A PIX 11 live news report was interrupted Wednesday night after two individuals walked into correspondent Allison Kaden’s shot to reenact the chokehold that killed Eric Garner.

Kaden was reporting from Rockefeller Center where NBC’s annual Christmas tree lighting was briefly dimmed by a group protesting a grand jury’s decision not to indict Daniel Pantaleo, the NYPD officer who put Garner in the fatal chokehold. The protesters barred many from attending the free event in Midtown Manhattan.

With her back turned to the man and woman reenacting Garner’s death, Kaden did not respond to their insensitive gesture. The couple quickly ran out of the shot as Kaden tossed it back to the anchors in the studio. No identification has been made of the two.
