Fandango has added Harkins Theatres, the nation’s largest independently owned exhibition chain, Premiere Cinemas and Digital Destinations to its sales network, the online ticket broker said Thursday.

The addition of 1,000 screens in 12 states ups the numbers of screens that Fandango sells online and mobile tickets for in the U.S. to 24,000, or about 85 percent of the nation’s wired theaters.

Harkins is the fifth-largest theater chain in the U.S. and a top circuit in the Southwest, operating 30 sites with 432 screens across five states.
