Maybe Tyler Henry could have told you this was coming, Christina El Moussa.
“Flip or Flop” star El Moussa hit up Instagram on Tuesday to tease her upcoming appearance on the E! series “Hollywood Medium” — and got an earful from fans warning her that she was going against God by consulting a medium.
“Had such an unbelievably amazing experience today with @tylerhenrymedium …!!” El Moussa wrote in accompaniment of a photo featuring her and “Hollywood Medium” star Tyler Henry. “Can’t wait for you all to watch next season!”
While many fans expressed their excitement at the prospect of seeing El Moussa receive a reading, plenty of others cracked open their Bibles and gave the HGTV star a social-media sermon.
“Girrrrl. Read Deuteronomy. Not good,” cautioned one commenter.
“Can’t believe you’re messing with that evil stuff,” lamented another commenter.
“Don’t get deceived by the occult,” went another warning.
“Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God,” read another response which we think might have come from the Bible, possibly somewhere near the back.
“Look to God, not man,” went another finger-wagging response.
“Witchcraft is death, Princess Diana was into that, too,” claimed another responder. Erm, you might want to fact check that statement …
“Witchcraft. Stay away,” wrote another naysayer.
“You apparently have no idea what you’re involved with. Stay far away or weird stuff could happen. It’s dangerous,” one particularly concerned response read.
“I’m sad at this post. A ‘medium’ is not talking to loved ones..they are extremely tricky demons. Read The Bible..it explains it all!!” read another response that was punctuated by the hashtag “#OnlyOneGod.”
What an unholy mess …
